eBay says Moscow office to manage teams in 200 countries

MOSCOW, Feb 27 (PRIME) -- The Moscow office of U.S. online auction eBay will manage teams in 200 countries and territories by shaping a new region, High Potential Global Emerging Markets, the company said late on Wednesday in a statement.

The new region will comprise Scandinavia, Eastern and Southern Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, and Africa, which were already run by the Moscow office.

They will be joined by China, Southeast Asia, Central and Latin America.

The new team will focus on improvement of buyer experience on the platform, development of exports of local eBay sellers, and implementation of special tools for exporters, already used in Russia.
